We saw these stones on our trip to Ireland in 2002. They looked as if they had just been pulled out of an archeological dig, and became the inspiration for two plaques I designed when we returned home, The Lover’s Knot and the Celtic Knot.

This Kerb stone at Newgrange was very inspiring to me. We visited many ancient sites in Ireland and saw amazing stone carvings, and standing stones. This stone, along with the carved petroglyphs we saw, were my inspiration for our Spiral Goddess Wall Plaque.
